CPSF receives donation from Great Southern Bank

The Columbia Public Schools Foundation (CPSF) is pleased to announce that it recently received a $6,000 donation from Great Southern Bank.

The donation was announced at the Mizzou Men’s Basketball game versus Florida on Jan. 20. Great Southern Bank pledged to contribute $10 for every assist during the last men’s basketball season to the Foundation.

Great Southern Bank’s donation was part of their Assist to Education program.  “Public schools across our nation provide a place for kids to grow and learn, while encouraging youth to excel in school, become good citizens and lead healthy, productive lives,” said Andrea Brady, Great Southern Bank’s community outreach and development manager. “Supporting our students and their future assists in creating a thriving community. Great Southern Bank is proud to make this donation to the Columbia Public Schools Foundation.”

“We’re thrilled to receive this donation from Great Southern Bank in support of our strong community schools,” said Katie Harris, executive director of CPSF. “We are proud to partner with them and the University of Missouri Men’s Basketball program to assist in education for all students.”

Founded in 1923, Great Southern Bank is headquartered in Springfield, Mo. The bank operates 101 offices in thirteen states with 92 retail banking centers.
