Lynn McIntosh

Lynn McIntosh was actively involved with the Columbia Public Schools when her five sons were in attendance, spending time at each of their schools through PTA, sports, theater and fundraisers. Following their graduation from CPS, Lynn spent time as a substitute teacher for CPS for eight years. She is a recipient of the Hall of Leaders Volunteer award from CPSF.

Lynn served on the CPSF board from 2007-2016 and rejoined the board from 2018-2024.  She was granted emeritus status in 2024. “I believe wholeheartedly that the public school system in each community defines that community. One cannot have a healthy community without solid, innovative public schools,” Lynn says. “To this end I joined the Columbia Public Schools Foundation more than ten years ago to help support our public schools through community outreach.”
